About Gloomhaven

Gloomhaven is a tactical RPG and the digital adaptation of Isaac Childres's celebrated strategy board game, set in a distinctive medieval dark fantasy world. You lead a band of mercenaries into an unforgiving land where every choice carries weight, carving through terrifying dungeons, dreadful forests and dark caves teeming with horrific monsters to claim your rewards, or die in the attempt. Your blade is for sale to anyone who can pay, be they city officials or corrupt cultists, and you are hired for results, not questions, leaving you to decide where your own line is drawn.

At its heart are 17 unique mercenaries, each bringing their own skills and more than a thousand different abilities to master. You explore in a band of two to four heroes, taking on quests and events either alone or in online co-op for up to four players. Before venturing out, you prepare a deck of ability cards for each character, then set off into the caves and forests of Gloomhaven.

Combat is tactical and turn-based, played by selecting two cards for each mercenary and thinking several moves ahead. Rewarding strategic planning and problem solving, this adaptation of one of the most acclaimed board games ever made offers PC players deep, deliberate dungeon crawling wrapped in a grim and atmospheric setting.
