About Gangs of Sherwood

Gangs of Sherwood is a cooperative action game for one to four players set in a reimagined world of Robin Hood. Here the armies of the Sheriff of Nottingham have grown stronger than ever through the power of the Philosopher's Stones, leaving the people of England more oppressed than they have ever been, and it falls to you to lead the rebellion against this tyranny.

You play as Robin, Marian, Friar Tuck or Little John, four heroes with unique, fully customizable gameplay styles, setting out to plunder riches and give them to the poor. From Sherwood Forest to the Sheriff's flying castle, the path forward is blocked by hordes of enemies, and combining the heroes' different combat styles lets you foil the tyrant's plans while battling performance-enhanced soldiers, formidable war machines and terrifying bosses.

Progression ties directly into the classic robbing-the-rich theme. Saving innocent lives and giving loot to the people improves your reputation and unlocks new upgrades and devastating combos, while remaining gold can be spent with merchants to upgrade equipment and customize your skills. Co-op for up to four players rewards teamwork, as you meet in your hideout to plan strategy before each mission and chain increasingly impressive combos together. This action-adventure on PC turns a familiar legend into a stylish, combo-driven cooperative romp.
