A closer look at Arknights: Endfield
Endfield combines a frontier expedition with the practical work of supplying it. You explore Talos-II alongside operators, confront threats, and develop the land using the Automated Industry Complex, or AIC. The appeal is the connection between discovering a place and building the infrastructure that supports further exploration.
Combat asks you to coordinate a team's skills in real time. Between encounters, factories turn resources into useful supplies: the official introduction names gear, batteries, explosives and tactical items among their products. Planning production can be as much of a draw as fighting.
This is a good match for players who enjoy both RPG adventures and arranging production systems. Expect to divide your attention between those activities rather than treating the industrial side as background scenery.

Getting started
Before your first session
Choose your account and server
On Steam, link your existing GRYPHLINE account if you already play elsewhere. Select the original server: Asia and Americas / Europe progress is separate.
Practice skill sequences
Use early encounters to learn your operators' abilities and how their attacks connect before investing in a more elaborate team setup.
Keep the first factory understandable
Build a small production layout you can follow, then expand it. Check what each line produces before adding more machinery.

Is this for you?
For players who want exploration and tactical team combat alongside factory planning. Less suitable when you want combat sessions with little attention to production.
Things to consider
- Optional purchases include random items; free access does not mean every item is freely selectable.
- Steam requires a GRYPHLINE account and uses kernel-level Anti-Cheat Expert. Steam states that the anti-cheat needs manual removal after uninstalling the game.
- Progress is shared across supported platforms on the corresponding server, not between the Asia and Americas / Europe servers.
Good to know
Is Arknights: Endfield available on Steam?
Yes. Steam lists October 14, 2026, while GRYPHLINE's announcement specifies the October 15 version update. Both confirm availability by October 28.
Is it free to play?
Yes. The base game is free, with optional in-game purchases, including random items.
Can I continue an existing account on Steam?
Yes. Link the existing GRYPHLINE account and choose the same server. Steam downloads and updates are managed through Steam rather than GRYPHLINK.
What makes the factory system useful?
The AIC automates production of equipment, materials and expedition supplies, linking infrastructure planning to exploration and combat.
