About Far Cry® 5

Far Cry 5 brings the award-winning franchise to American soil, setting its action in Hope County, Montana, a place proud of its freedom that has fallen under the shadow of a fanatical doomsday cult called Eden's Gate. Standing up to cult leader Joseph Seed and his sibling Heralds means sparking the fires of resistance and fighting to liberate a community under siege. It is a first-person shooter built around toppling a movement that hits back hard.

You can free Hope County solo or in two-player co-op, recruiting Guns and Fangs for hire to help take down the cult. Wreaking havoc on Eden's Gate always carries a cost, since Joseph Seed and his followers respond to your resistance with real fury, keeping the world reactive to your every move.

This is described as the largest customizable Far Cry to date, letting you build your character and carve your own path through the county. Dynamic toys add to the mayhem, from iconic muscle cars and ATVs to planes, all put to use engaging cult forces in sprawling fights across the Montana landscape on PC.
