About Far Cry® 3: Blood Dragon

Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon casts you as Sergeant Rex Colt, a Mark IV Cyber Commando dropped into a gleefully retro vision of the future. The year is 2007, and Earth has been left scarred by a nuclear war that broke out in the 1990s. After a grim decade, the search for peace has led the US cyborg army toward a possible answer: a powerful bioweapon hidden on a distant island. Rex is sent in to gather intelligence and work out exactly what is going on.

This action adventure leans into over-the-top shooter thrills. You and seven fully customizable weapons take on a bizarre open-world island crawling with evil, dispatching enemies with ninja stars, firearms, or plain old explosives. The approach is entirely yours, and the island is more than happy to throw strange threats at whatever loadout you choose.

As a state-of-the-art cyber-commando who is part man, part machine, and all American, Rex is out for vengeance against his old commanding officer and a battalion of ruthless killer cyborgs. The mission is simple in spirit even as the world around it gets stranger: get the girl, take down the bad guys, and save the world by any means necessary on PC.
