About Fallout Shelter

Fallout Shelter puts you in charge of a state-of-the-art underground Vault from Vault-Tec, buried thousands of feet beneath the surface and yours to shape from an empty excavation into a thriving community. As Overseer, you choose from a range of modern rooms, arrange them into an efficient layout, and turn raw bedrock into a functioning slice of Vault life. This simulation RPG blends the busywork of construction with the ongoing care of the people who call it home.

Your Dwellers are the heart of everything. Getting to know them, matching them to the jobs that suit their skills, and kitting them out with outfits, weapons, and training all push them toward happiness. Crafting lets you turn scrap into useful gear, the Barbershop reshapes their looks, and a Radio Room draws newcomers in. You can even play matchmaker and watch new Dwellers arrive the natural way.

When the Vault gets crowded, you send Dwellers up to the irradiated surface to scavenge armor, weapons, experience, and Caps, though death is always a risk out there. Threats also strike from outside and within, so keeping your population trained and ready is the price of survival in this free-to-play PC management game.
