About Fallout: New Vegas

Fallout: New Vegas poster

A direct follow-up to the 2008 game of the year Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas drops you into a desert oasis where survival is anything but guaranteed. This is a town of dreamers and desperados, torn apart by rival factions all scrambling for control, and it opens with your character being shot in the head and left in a shallow grave. From there, the right person with the right weaponry has every chance to carve out a reputation and collect a few enemies along the way.

The action RPG sends you fighting across the sun-scorched Mojave Wasteland, over the massive Hoover Dam, and down the neon-lit Vegas Strip. Along the road you meet a colorful cast of survivors, cross paths with power-hungry factions, and contend with mutated creatures and specialized weaponry drawn from across the Great Southwest.

A war between those rival factions is brewing, and its outcome will reshape the lives of everyone living in New Vegas. You can pick a side in the coming conflict or gamble on a winner-takes-all play and crown yourself King of the Strip. However you approach it, this PC role-playing adventure hands you the freedom to decide who thrives and who falls in Sin City.
