About Fallout 3 Game of the Year Edition

Fallout 3 Game of the Year Edition poster

Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition lets you experience the acclaimed 2008 title like never before, bundling the base game with all five of its add-on packs. You create a character of your choosing and descend into a post-apocalyptic world where every minute is a fight for survival, exploring the vast Capital Wasteland and seeing America's great monuments lying in ruin. Limitless freedom lets your choices define you and reshape the world, while the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. system delivers points-based customization of your abilities.

The real draw of this edition is the wealth of extra content. Operation: Anchorage places you inside a military simulation to liberate Anchorage, Alaska from Chinese Communist invaders, while The Pitt sends you to the ruins of Pittsburgh amid a conflict between slaves and their Raider masters. Broken Steel raises the level cap to 30 and lets you finish the fight against the Enclave alongside Liberty Prime.

Two more adventures round out the package. Point Lookout is a mysterious, open-ended journey through a murky Maryland swampland, and Mothership Zeta pits you against hostile alien abductors as you fight your way off a mothership orbiting above the Capital Wasteland. Together these expansions add dozens of hours to an already sprawling action RPG, making this the most complete way to experience survival, choice, and exploration in Fallout 3 on PC.
