F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch is a Metroidvania set six years after the Machine Legion invaded and colonized Torch City, a place once inhabited by animals. You play Rayton, a former resistance soldier who has lived in seclusion ever since, until his friend is forcibly arrested and he takes up his mechanical fist once more to fight back. What begins as a personal rescue quickly entangles him in a far larger scheme involving the mafia, the rebellion, and the legion.

The game world is a sophisticated, interconnected map dotted with countless secrets. You explore roughly a dozen areas, each with its own visual themes and level design, earning rewards by conquering combat, puzzles, and platforming challenges across chambers, tunnels, and hidden shortcuts. Automatic, seamless map loading helps make the detailed Torch City feel convincing and cohesive as you uncover its depths.

Combat follows an arcade-styled system built around three unique weapons: the Fist, the Drill, and the Whip. You switch between them to suit the situation, trading long-reaching hits for high damage or wide-range attacks, while enemies wielding their own weapons and bosses with distinct patterns keep encounters fresh. Wrapped in a striking dieselpunk aesthetic powered by Unreal Engine 4, this indie blend of action, adventure, RPG, and simulation delivers a stylish Metroidvania journey on PC.
