About Expeditions: Rome

Expeditions: Rome poster

Expeditions: Rome places the future of Rome in your hands, casting you as a young Legatus whose father has been murdered by an unknown political rival. Forced to flee, you take refuge in a military campaign to put down a Greek rebellion, and step by step you build your prowess, temper yourself in combat, and grow into a Legatus whom everyone learns to both respect and fear. The central question the game poses is simple but weighty: what will your legacy be?

As you exert Rome's will across the world stage, from the coasts of Greece to the forests of Gaul, you decide how people view both you and Rome itself. Will you strike with an iron fist or speak with a silver tongue? Will you uphold the Republic's heritage or carve your own path through the politics of the Roman Senate? Every choice shapes the fate of your legion, your closest companions, and Rome as a whole.

The game backs its narrative with deep systems. You create your own Legatus, customizing look, gender, class, and skills, then engage in tactical turn-based combat driven by an extensive skill-based action system where every weapon reshapes your effectiveness in battle. Five unique companions with rich backstories join your adventure across a colorful world, making this a strategy-minded RPG about ambition, politics, and conquest on PC.
