About Evil Dead: The Game

Evil Dead: The Game poster

Evil Dead: The Game delivers the ultimate multiplayer take on the franchise, and it's every bit as groovy as fans would hope. You can step into the shoes of Ash Williams or his companions and work together through over-the-top co-op and PVP action, drawing inspiration from all three original Evil Dead films and the STARZ series Ash vs Evil Dead. A team of four survivors explores, loots, manages fear, and hunts for key items to seal the breach between worlds.

The roster is packed with iconic faces, including Ash, Scotty, Lord Arthur, and Kelly Maxwell, brought to life with new dialogue performed by Bruce Campbell and others. You don't have to play the good guys, either: you can take control of the Kandarian Demon to stalk Ash and his allies, possessing Deadites and environmental objects as you try to devour their souls. That good-versus-evil dynamic sits at the heart of the multiplayer.

The presentation revels in horror-comedy excess. Realistic visuals and physics-based gore let you tear a Deadite in two with Ash's chainsaw hand or soar across the map as the demon, while an arsenal of double-barrel shotguns, cleavers, and more supplies gleefully gruesome violence against the armies of darkness. A battle-royale-style Splatter Royale mode rounds things out, cementing this action MMO as a fittingly chaotic celebration of the series on PC.
