About Eternal Threads

Eternal Threads poster

Eternal Threads is a single-player, first-person puzzle adventure built entirely around time manipulation, choice, and consequence. You play an operative sent to fix corruption in the timestream, arriving in the North of England in May 2015 where a house fire claimed six lives. You're forbidden from simply preventing the blaze, so instead you must reshape the decisions the six housemates make during the week leading up to it, steering events so that everyone survives.

From the start you have complete freedom over the seven-day timeline. You can watch and rewatch the week's significant moments in any order, altering them as often as you like. Some changes ripple only slightly, nudging objects or exposing hidden stories, while others rewrite the timeline outright, replacing or adding whole events. Success means moving up and down the week, tweaking choices at different points so their effects combine to save all six people at once.

The housemates aren't the only ones with choices to make, and each can be saved in more than one way. Every outcome leaves a lasting mark on their futures, turning the puzzle into a genuine moral exercise. You can chase the fastest solution or dig for something more meaningful, making this indie puzzle game as much about reflection as problem-solving on PC.
