Escape Simulator 2 continues the interactive puzzle series with fresh environments, more elaborate brain-teasers, and upgraded creation tools for the PC. Following the success of the original, the sequel leans hard into the feeling of stepping into a genuine escape room. Nearly everything responds to your touch: you can pick objects up, wipe away grime, take a seat wherever you please, drive vehicles, and shift anything that isn't bolted in place, all in service of the puzzles waiting to be cracked.
Each room pack bundles four connected rooms, and the launch lineup spans three distinct settings. Dracula's Castle sends you into a shadowy fortress to lift a dark curse, Starship EOS strands you aboard a damaged exploration vessel hunting for an energy source, and The Cursed Treasure follows a cryptic map to a pirate island lined with dangerous trials. More content is planned to arrive after release.
The game supports both solo runs and cooperative sessions for up to eight players online, with voice and text chat built in to keep everyone coordinated while solving. Room Editor 2.0 expands the community toolkit, letting builders craft and share their own escape rooms, so this simulation puzzler carries the same open-ended, player-driven spirit as its predecessor.
