How to get through the Process: Cold Start prologue, build a workable first team, and avoid early resource mistakes before the meta systems open up.

  • Finish the 'Process: Cold Start' prologue first — it unlocks your mailbox, so you can't claim redeem-code or event rewards until you progress past it.
  • Build around elemental reactions, not raw star ratings: pair a DPS Striker/Caster with an enabler (Electrification, Heat, Arts Susceptibility) rather than stacking four attackers.
  • Use the 'imbalance' stagger mechanic — hit staggered enemies to spike their vulnerability, then dump your Ultimate/Combo Skills into that window.
  • Don't over-pull early; save premium currency for enabler/support banners (Gilberta-type units) that elevate every future team.
  • Set up your first automated base line as soon as it unlocks — early mining and processing chains fund your account's long-term material economy.
  • Claim daily/weekly missions and the login events; free pulls (e.g., 5 free pulls per new-operator banner) add up fast for F2P accounts.
  • Redeem active codes via Settings > Platform & Account > Exchange Code for free T-Cred and combat records — mail expires in 30 days, so claim promptly.
