Arknights: Endfield vs Arknights

This is the family matchup: Endfield is Hypergryph's 3D action-RPG spin-off of its own hit 2D tower-defense strategy game, sharing the Terra/Talos universe but almost none of the moment-to-moment gameplay. The original Arknights is one of the most respected, F2P-friendly gachas around, which sets a high bar for its ambitious younger sibling.

The verdict

Stick with Arknights if you love tight tactical strategy, want maximum generosity, or play on modest hardware, since it remains a gold-standard F2P experience. Jump to Arknights: Endfield if you want to explore the same universe through real-time action and deep automation, accepting that it must still prove its economy and staying power.
