About Encased

Encased is a classic isometric RPG set in a dystopian world, blending role-playing depth with adventure, strategy and an indie sensibility. You fight enemies, explore a hostile wasteland, level up your character and pledge yourself to one of the forces vying for power in a ruined land, all sealed beneath a mysterious Dome after the catastrophic event known simply as the Incident, cut off from the rest of the world.

You begin as an ordinary employee of the CRONUS Corporation, choosing one of its five divisions, or Wings, each with its own features and mechanics. From there you take a one-way trip beneath the Dome, dodging radiation and anomalies, battling mutated animals and hunting for unique artifacts. As the story spans events before, during and after the disaster, you become a driving force in a world where the old order has collapsed and five powerful factions now rule, leaving you free to join one or walk your own path as a lone wolf.

Choice runs through everything. You can persuade or bribe important people, resolve quests in different ways depending on your stats and decisions, and shape the future of the Dome. With multiple endings that let you kill everyone, embrace pacifism or land somewhere between, Encased gives PC RPG fans real consequences for how they play.
