Echoes of the End is a cinematic third-person action-adventure that pairs a deeply personal, character-driven story with magic and sword-based combat, engaging traversal and thought-provoking puzzles. Inspired by the landscapes of Iceland, it aims for a mature, immersive experience set in a breathtaking and original fantasy world on the edge of war.

You play as Ryn, a vestige able to channel volatile yet powerful magic, as she fights to rescue her brother from a ruthless totalitarian empire. Alongside Abram Finlay, a scholar and explorer haunted by his own past, she uncovers a conspiracy that could reignite an ancient conflict and plunge the world of Aema into chaos, in a heartfelt tale built around trust, redemption and sacrifice.

Combat and exploration grow more inventive as Ryn's confidence and strength develop, letting her master both magic and swordsmanship against unique enemies and epic bosses. Teaming with Abram opens up creative combos in both fighting and traversal, while puzzles lean on Ryn's powers of gravity manipulation, destruction and illusion, often solved through collaboration with her companion. Set against environments that range from fiery lava fields to icy mountain peaks, this PC adventure makes its Icelandic inspiration central to the journey.
