About EARTH DEFENSE FORCE 6

EARTH DEFENSE FORCE 6 is a third-person action shooter and the follow-up to EARTH DEFENSE FORCE 5, continuing the series' trademark clash between the EDF and swarms of giant alien enemies. You step into the boots of an EDF soldier and take on the towering invaders in the kind of large-scale, chaotic firefights the franchise is known for on PC.

The story opens in a world already scarred by war. Mankind has finally beaten back the mysterious Primers, but the cost is staggering: only about ten percent of the population remains, and society teeters on collapse. Survivors press on against lingering threats until, three years later in 2027, the fight reignites and the true identity of the invader that has long tormented Earth is at last revealed, dragging humanity into a fresh chain of despair.

This installment is billed as the largest in series history, boasting the most missions and weapons the franchise has ever offered. All of them support online co-op for up to four players, and you can command four different soldier classes as you battle alongside real teammates. For fans of massive, monster-crushing action shooters, EDF 6 delivers scale and cooperative mayhem in equal measure.
