About Dying Light: The Beast Restored Land

Dying Light: The Beast Restored Land poster

Dying Light: The Beast is the newest AAA entry in the series and, by the developer's account, the best-reviewed one yet. It packs more than 40 hours of survival adventure across single-player and shared-progression co-op, set in the sprawling open world of Castor Woods. The result is an ambitious, content-rich take on survival horror that leans hard into atmosphere and exploration on PC.

You return as Kyle Crane, venturing through unpredictable wilderness to uncover a dangerous new evolution of the infected while learning to harness the beastly powers stirring inside you. The story is built as a tale of vengeance woven with twists, shifting alliances and characters whose loyalties you can never quite trust, and it pushes Crane toward dangers far larger than the justice he set out to claim.

Shaped by a decade of Techland's work on the franchise, The Beast refines the elements fans return for: immersive first-person melee combat, grounded parkour, deep exploration and the signature day-night cycle. Praised in press coverage as effectively Dying Light 3, it aims to satisfy longtime veterans while also serving as an accessible starting point for anyone new to the world.
