Dungeon of the Endless™ - Crystal Edition poster

Dungeon of the Endless, Crystal Edition begins with a few hundred condemned criminals being shipped to the Auriga system aboard the prison hulk Success. Though sold as a chance to earn back their place in society through hard work, they understand the truth: they are slave labor bound for an unexplored planet. All they know of Auriga Prime is what the probes revealed, that it has water, temperate zones, plant life, and abundant metals in its crust.

The planet, however, once hosted a major settlement of the galaxy-travelling ancestors known as the Endless, and it is still orbited by a functioning, well-cloaked defensive system. That system springs to life the moment the Success arrives, reducing the ship to falling chunks of metal within minutes. Because every set of holding cells doubles as an escape pod, the vessel disintegrates and the surviving prisoners fall bruised but temporarily alive to the surface below.

Safe only for a moment, they soon realize they have crashed through some ancient facility of the Endless, down to a sub-basement so deep and old it might as well be a dungeon. From that grim setup, the game unfolds as an adventure and strategy RPG with indie roots. Dungeon of the Endless invites PC players to survive its layered, ancient depths and uncover what the Endless left behind.
