Dungeon Defenders: Going Rogue fuses roguelite progression with hero defense gameplay into a chaotic free-for-all, pitting you and up to three friends against relentless hordes of enemies. You select your hero, then use towers and abilities to survive successive waves of foes, unlocking new weapons and runes while taking on the bosses that lie in wait. The mix of run-based unpredictability and defensive strategy gives every attempt its own shape.
Combat lets you fight however you like. The action RPG systems allow you to wade directly into the fray or pick off enemies from a distance, and as you collect powerful runes and weapons your build shifts, transforming your hero into a war machine of steadily escalating strength. Active tower building complements the action by letting you instantly summon defenses that fight alongside you, with new and stronger towers appearing as you progress. You can brave the dungeons solo or gather a party, playing across up to four-player online co-op.
The package is generous and evolving, offering four heroes with more on the way through Early Access, over 200 runes and item effects, more than 75 weapons, towers, and offhands, upwards of 20 maps with three boss fights, and cross-development ties to Dungeon Defenders: Awakened. As an indie action adventure RPG, it delivers replayable co-op defense on PC.
