About Dungeon Defenders: Awakened

Dungeon Defenders: Awakened poster

Dungeon Defenders: Awakened marks the return of the franchise, developed by Chromatic Games as a cooperative action RPG and tower defense hybrid. It brings loot, leveling, pets, and character customization into a legendary four-player co-op experience, once again sending you to defend the land of Etheria. This time the past has been altered, and it falls to you and up to three friends to level up, claim legendary loot, and stand against the armies of enemies that await.

At the heart of the game is protecting your Eternia Crystals. You master four heroes, the Squire, Huntress, Apprentice, and Monk, to fight off hundreds of minions bent on mayhem, then build and deploy an arsenal of blockades, towers, traps, and auras to keep the crystals safe. The only requirement is to win, but how you get there is entirely up to you, whether alone or with a full party jumping into the fray alongside you.

Loot and customization drive the long game. Battling waves of foes rains down a plethora of gear, from swords and crossbows to staves, polearms, axes, grenade launchers, and beam sabers. Everything, from the gear you wield to how your hero looks and where you build, is chosen by you. As an indie RPG strategy title, it delivers customizable co-op defense on PC.
