About Dune: Awakening

Dune: Awakening is an open-world, multiplayer survival game set on a massive scale across the deserts of Arrakis. It reaches beyond mere survival, offering a persistent, deeply immersive world with social hubs bustling with other players, server-wide politics and intrigue, and a cinematic storyline. Its take on Frank Herbert's universe is both fresh and familiar: the Fremen have vanished, Paul Atreides was never born, and Duke Leto Atreides survived the assault on Arrakeen, now locked in brutal conflict with the Harkonnen over the planet and its precious spice.

You begin as a prisoner sent to Arrakis to uncover the mystery of the Fremen's disappearance. Following in the footsteps of that vanished desert tribe, you rise from a nameless survivor into an agent of either the Atreides or the Harkonnen. Whether you play alone, with friends, or alongside the hundreds of players sharing your Arrakis, the central question stands: can you survive the most dangerous planet in the universe?

Survival means learning the ways of the Fremen. You seek shadow to escape the scorching sun, craft stillsuits and extract water from your enemies to stay hydrated, and build shelter against the elements.
