DUCKSIDE is a persistent-world survival game with an absurd twist: you are a duck, and so is everybody else. It pitches itself as survi-fowl in the vein of DayZ or Rust, opening with the grim statistic that over 10 million ducks are killed each year by featherless hunters, a number the game jokes would be far lower if ducks were combat trained. Enter this expansive island, where you wake at the quack of dawn to put your webbed feet to work or take flight in search of valuable resources and treasures.
Survival runs on the genre's familiar loop, reimagined through feathers and beaks. You harvest resources, craft weapons and tools, and build shelters to protect both your loot and your life, all while soaking in the strange satisfaction of being a duck. The game leans hard into that fantasy, from feeling the cold steel of a machine gun against your feathers to the peace of settling into a house you cobbled together out of trash looted off some unfortunate rival's corpse.
The crafting system is billed as deep and robust, with plenty of room to roam and scheme. Combining action, survival, FPS combat, and MMO-scale persistence, DUCKSIDE delivers a chaotic, comedic multiplayer sandbox where PC players fight, build, and loot their way through life as a firequacker.
