Drova - Forsaken Kin is a pixel-art action RPG that draws on the grim, dark classics of the genre and the mystical pull of Celtic mythology. It unfolds in a handcrafted open world that responds to your choices and actions. The setting is charged with tension: a society has learned to capture the spirits that govern nature and rule over them, but the fury of the surviving spirits has split it apart, and the game asks where you will ultimately stand.

You begin with nothing, a nobody who must forge a path across dangerous landscapes by fulfilling tasks, trading, gathering, and crafting equipment. Studying your surroundings and reading the clues within them is how you unravel mysteries and grow stronger, while your mastery of the flow-based combat system is often all that stands between you and certain death. Joining one of two factions, each with its own values and goals, becomes a defining choice that shapes the rest of the story, bringing teachers, new abilities, and the occasional betrayal.
