About DREDGE

DREDGE casts you as the captain of a fishing trawler, setting out from a new home in a remote archipelago known as The Marrows. You take to the water to scour the depths for curious collectables and more than 125 deep-sea denizens, sailing between neighboring island regions that each hold their own inhabitants, opportunities, and secrets. Completing quests along the way opens up new areas and reveals the stories buried across these islands.

Beneath the fishing lies a mystery. Someone wants you to dig up the past, but the game keeps you wondering whether they can be trusted and whether anything you dredge up will ever be enough. Danger is constant on the water, from sharp rocks and shallow reefs to something far worse: the biggest threats lurk within the fog that shrouds the night-time seas, giving the adventure a creeping sense of dread.

Progression comes through study and survival. You research special equipment and upgrade your boat to reach rare fish, valuable deep-sea curios, and more secluded locations, selling your catches to locals to learn about each area and fund further improvements. When the darkness turns hostile, you strengthen your mind and lean on newfound abilities to survive. As an adventure RPG, DREDGE blends peaceful fishing with unsettling horror for PC players drawn to a good mystery.
