About Dreamscaper

Dreamscaper poster

Dreamscaper splits its world between night and day. After dark, you plunge deep into your own subconscious, hunting powerful artifacts to overcome your nightmares. By day, you wander the city of Red Haven, building relationships that unlock the strength of your dreams. The cycle it lives by is simple and haunting: dream, die, wake, repeat, turning each defeat into another chance to grow.

At its core, this is a roguelite that borrows from several genres at once, blending brawlers, top-down shooters, and dungeon crawlers into a single experience. Every time you slumber, you descend into a different dungeon within an ever-shifting world, one packed with unique events and challenges so that no two nights feel the same. You play as Cassidy, diving into her subconscious to confront the surreal nightmares she wrestles with, all in an effort to steer her away from a dark fate.

The interplay between the two halves gives the game its rhythm: the bonds you form in Red Haven feed directly into the power you carry into each nightmare. As an indie action adventure with RPG elements, Dreamscaper wraps its combat and progression in a dreamlike, surreal atmosphere, giving PC players a striking take on the roguelite formula built around resilience and self-discovery.
