About DREADZONE

DREADZONE opens in the year 2030, with humanity teetering on the edge of collapse. A devastating virus called Zeno-29 has spread across the globe, twisting the infected into horrifying mutants and reducing society to ruins. To contain the outbreak, governments have carved out thousands of isolated quarantine zones, desolate wastelands where the infected are sent to live out their final days. You are one of them, dropped into a remote zone of abandoned factories, crumbling houses, underground hideouts, and wild terrain, with survival as your only option as the virus slowly takes hold.

Staying alive means scavenging and building. You gather resources, hunt wildlife, pick through abandoned ruins, trade with fellow survivors, and take on missions, while constructing shelters to shield yourself from the elements and hostile threats. Crafting weapons, tools, and essential supplies is crucial, as is smelting ore and cooking food to prepare for the dangers ahead in this unforgiving quarantine zone.

Exploration pushes you deeper into danger. You can infiltrate abandoned bunkers, forsaken factories, and derelict houses while navigating a deadly landscape prowled by relentless zombies, terrifying mutants, wild animals, and ruthless soldiers who shoot on sight.
