About Distance

Distance poster

Distance is an atmospheric racing platformer that fuses futuristic arcade racing with parkour, dropping you into a deadly, mysterious, neon-drenched city that you must survive by jumping, rotating and flying. The roads are treacherous, with obstacles waiting around every corner, and rather than looping through laps the goal is to reach the end alive in the quickest time possible.

What sets it apart is how much your car can do. Its abilities let you drive not just along the track but upside down and across buildings and walls, and you can even take flight to discover new shortcuts and hidden paths through the city. That freedom turns each course into a puzzle of momentum and survival, where reading the environment is as important as raw speed. You can take on the roads alone or race in multiplayer with friends.

The game is a spiritual successor to the multi-award-winning Nitronic Rush, which its creators built with five others at DigiPen Institute of Technology and which earned wide praise for its innovative mechanics, visual style, audio design and atmosphere. As an indie action racing title on PC, Distance carries that heritage into a bigger, moodier world of high-speed survival.
