Diablo Immortal is a genre-defining action RPG set between the events of Diablo II: Lord of Destruction and Diablo III, telling an untold chapter in the series saga. This free-to-play entry brings the classic Diablo loop of slaying countless demons, gathering powerful loot and exploring a nightmarish landscape to both PC and mobile, and since launch it has grown through frequent updates that add new zones, gear, competitive events and demonic stories, including the first new playable class in the franchise since 2014.
What sets it apart in the series is its massively multiplayer design, the first of its kind for Diablo. You can forge alliances with other players and work together to purge Sanctuary of evil, turning demon hunting into a more communal pursuit while still delivering the moment-to-moment combat fans expect.
Story-wise, you carve through a brand-new narrative that reveals landmark events which befell Sanctuary in the gap between those two mainline games. Seven distinct classes give you different ways to dispatch demons, so how you play is entirely your call, whether you crush foes beneath an axe or lean into other approaches. As an MMO action RPG, it lets you save Sanctuary from wherever you happen to be.
