About Diablo® III

Diablo III opens with evil in its prime. Twenty years have passed since the Prime Evils were defeated and banished from the world of Sanctuary, and now you must return to where it all began, the town of Tristram, to investigate rumors of a fallen star. That star is the first sign of evil's rebirth and an omen that the End Times have begun, drawing you back into a fight for the fate of the world.

Combat centers on the powers of your heroic birthright. Playing as one of several classes, you shake the earth, blast enemies with fire and ice and summon otherworldly minions, tailoring your approach to the class you choose. The action RPG loop of battling through Hell's forces is built around unleashing that arsenal against relentless waves of demons.

Loot drives the long game. As you slay the hordes of Hell you collect powerful treasures from the darkest depths of Sanctuary, including legendary items capable of reshaping your entire play style and armor sets that grant dynamic bonuses as you assemble more pieces. On PC, Diablo III delivers the fast, hack-and-slash progression the series is known for, rewarding every descent with new power.
