About Diablo® + Hellfire expansion

This edition of Diablo bundles in the Diablo: Hellfire expansion, packaging the foundational action RPG together with additional content in a single release. The core experience remains the descent into evil that made the original a landmark of the genre, now paired with the extra material Hellfire brings to the table.

The story is unchanged in its menace. Darkness stirs beneath the town of Tristram, where a mad king, his missing son and a mysterious archbishop are the tangled pieces of a puzzle you must hack through. You have journeyed to the source of this evil, a cathedral raised over the ruins of an ancient monastery, where eerie lights and ungodly sounds drift through abandoned halls. The game urges you to tread softly, adventurer, for you tread on nightmares.

As an action RPG on PC, it delivers the same moody dungeon crawling and hack-and-slash combat that defined Diablo, extended by the Hellfire expansion for players who want more of Tristram's horrors. One caveat to keep in mind: localization is not available, so the game can be purchased and played in English only. It remains a fitting way to experience a classic descent into darkness with bonus content attached.
