DEVOUR is a co-op horror survival game built for one to four players, pitting you against possessed cultists intent on dragging you straight to hell. The mantra is simple and brutal: run, scream, hide and above all do not get caught. Online co-op lets you and up to three others take control of cult members who must coordinate to stop their corrupted brethren, while a single-player mode strips away that safety net for hardcore players willing to do all the screaming themselves.
Each playthrough plays out differently, demanding a focused team and precise execution across sessions that can stretch up to an hour. Every themed map introduces a new manifestation of the goat demon Azazel alongside fresh environments, items, fiends and forbidden rituals, so the threat never feels quite the same twice.
Your objective is to break Azazel's grip on the possessed by racing against time to gather key ritual items, some of which may be alive and unwilling, in order to complete the banishment. Difficulty escalates as each cultist grows angrier and faster and spawns more fiends, leaving your UV flashlight as the only real defense. Locked doors and shifting rituals keep this indie PC horror endlessly replayable.
