Devil May Cry 5 brings the over-the-top action series to PC with the signature mix of high-octane, stylized combat and the outlandish, original characters the franchise is known for. Director Hideaki Itsuno and the core team returned to craft what they set out to make the most insane and technically advanced entry yet, and the result leans hard into flashy, skill-driven spectacle.
The story picks up as demonic power once again threatens the world. When the seeds of a demon tree take root in Red Grave City, the young demon hunter Nero arrives with his partner Nico in their Devil May Cry motorhome. Left without the use of his right arm, Nero turns to Nico, a self-styled weapons artist, to build an array of mechanical Devil Breaker arms that grant him new powers against foes like the blood-sucking Empusa and the towering Goliath.
Combat is the centerpiece, featuring three playable characters who each fight with a radically different stylish approach as they carve through a city overrun by demons. Built on Capcom's in-house RE engine, the game pushes visual fidelity with photorealistic detail, giving this PC action title graphics that match the intensity of its combat.
