Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor recasts the co-op mining shooter as a single-player survivor-like auto-shooter. You take on hordes of lethal aliens, mine riches, and unlock powerful upgrades to stay alive while wielding the full arsenal of Deep Rock Galactic. This time it is one dwarf standing against all of Planet Hoxxes, and survival depends on how well you build and adapt.
The design is a reverse bullet hell with mining baked in. You kill bugs, upgrade your gear, and delve ever deeper into the caves, collecting and assembling a devastating array of guns as you unleash automatic fire on wave after wave of monsters. Because the auto-shooter handles aiming and firing, your focus stays on running and mining for your life, and each mission is entirely unique thanks to procedural cave generation and enemy waves familiar from the main game.
Completing mission objectives is how you grow stronger. Once the Drop Pod leaves you in the oppressive darkness, you are on your own, tasked with clearing the Company's goals and making it back in time to chase even deadlier and more lucrative encounters. Progressing deeper into the planet while building your power, you aim to survive to the end of your assignment and get extracted with a hefty sack of loot. On PC it delivers fast, action-packed roguelite survival.
