Deceit 2 is an immersive social deduction horror experience for six to nine players, built around a single goal: escape the Ritual. The catch is that two members of your party have been corrupted by evil, hiding in plain sight while they empower the Ritual to sacrifice you to the Game Master's mysterious Benefactors. Success hinges on banding together, telling allies from foes, and deciding who genuinely stands by your side in a treacherous game.
The setting is Millhaven Asylum in 1979, where a chilling occult ritual once claimed the lives of a renowned family and left only whispers behind. That unsolved enigma lay dormant until the Truth Seekers Anonymous dared to unravel it, ensnaring you as a pawn in the sinister Ritual of Deceit orchestrated by the malevolent Game Master. The Innocent's strength lies in unity, and suspecting an Infected in your midst means uniting to launch the Banishing Ritual, though a wrong accusation only deepens the mistrust in your ranks.
Beyond accusations, you can engage the mysterious Peddler, trading souls for invaluable tools, and navigate the haunting In-Between. As an Infected, you exploit the Ritual Site's Weak Points and tear reality open, thrusting everyone into that shadowy realm where your true power is unleashed to sow chaos and hunt. On PC it delivers action-driven horror rooted in deception.
