About Deadside

Deadside poster

Deadside pulls together familiar survival shooter elements and drops them into a fast-paced open world where progression comes quickly and loot is abundant. You scavenge valuable gear and stash it in a safe zone, or raise your own fortress in the wild, defending it with turrets, making it comfortable to boost your stats, and using it to store vehicles and loot. Getting around means traveling on foot or by car, motorcycle, boat, or a quick-travel metro, and along the way you can make allies, make enemies, join PvP or PvE servers, and raid rivals across a world packed with events.

Server choice shapes the whole experience. In Deadside 1.0 there are three types, and on all of them your character vanishes when offline, carrying every piece of loot on their body. PvP servers deliver an intense, hardcore experience with unrestricted fighting and raiding, PvE servers offer a calmer setting where players interact but cannot fight or raid each other, and PvP no raids splits the difference by allowing combat but no base raids.

Mobility is a point of pride, since nobody enjoys endless running in survival games. Boats, motorcycles, and cars sit alongside a fast-travel system, and vehicles can be secured with codelocks. Spanning action, adventure, FPS, indie, and MMO on PC, Deadside rewards both careful hoarding and aggressive raiding.
