About Deadliest Catch: The Game

Deadliest Catch: The Game poster

Deadliest Catch: The Game invites you to trade the safety of dry land for the perilous life of an Alaskan king crab catcher. For a few days each year, seasoned crabbers and eager greenhorns brave the elements side by side, risking their health and their lives with one goal in mind: to earn a fortune and be known as the best in the trade. If storms, risk, and crab claws don't scare you off, Dutch Harbor awaits.

The game casts you into dangerous sea rallies where you compete to haul in more crabs than you thought possible, all while battling the clock, fishing quotas, crab migrations, and above all the sea itself. Your vessel is no different from those that leave Dutch Harbor each fall, and you will command it through every condition, from a light breeze to a punishing gale, riding a troubled, spray-soaked deck as the waves toss you about.

You get more than the boat, too. All the onboard equipment is at your disposal, including the crane, the winch, the launcher, and the coiling system, and the game teaches you to work each one step by step. Blending action, adventure, indie design, and simulation on PC, it turns the grind of the Alaskan waters into a demanding test of nerve and skill.
