About Dead Age 2

Dead Age 2 poster

Dead Age 2 picks up a decade after the zombie apocalypse first broke out. The survivors of Jack's camp have fled to Freedom City, where a cure was developed, but relief gives way to fresh suffering as rival factions battle for control of the region. The merciless Military, the shady Smugglers, and the civilian-led Independents all vie for dominance, and when an Independents' refugee camp falls to an undead horde, its few survivors are left scrambling for food and supplies in an unforgiving world.

Combat builds on the series' turn-based system, which favors faster progression than tactics-heavy alternatives while adding depth. A single character can now carry up to 24 skills into battle, letting you shift tactics mid-fight to seize the advantage over zombies and hostile survivors alike. Positioning matters, as front-row fighters shield ranged allies, and you can deploy turrets, hunting dogs, tigers, and an array of new weapons.

Between fights you visit other factions' outposts to trade and take on missions, improving your standing to unlock better gear and plot developments, though a poor reputation invites confrontation or even a bounty. Your 3D base serves as the central hub for operations. Spanning action, RPG, simulation, and strategy on PC, it is a dense indie survival experience.
