About Dawn of Defiance

Dawn of Defiance drops you into a Greek-myth-soaked action-adventure where discontent stirs in the Underworld. Spared from death by the hand of Charon, you wash up on a lost shore to be tested, and to learn your part in an elusive plot against the Gods you must begin with nothing, scavenge for resources, and arm yourself against the perils of the isles before you can face greater trials.

Exploration carries you across ruins and wilds just beyond the domain of the Gods. Heightened movement abilities help you traverse coastal cliffs, fog-shrouded woods, dark caves, and scorching sands in search of treasure and power scattered among mythic landmarks. To stand against the wildlife and the corrupted, fallen heroes who came before, you grow stronger through recipes and upgrades, raise imposing Greek structures worthy of Olympus, and craft weapons and armor from ingredients of your choosing.

Only after clearing the tasks set before you can you pass into the Forgotten Crossroads and uncover the true purpose of your odyssey. Urged on by distant guides, you seek out the shrines of the Olympians and complete their trials to seize their knowledge and sever the Gods' lingering hold. On PC it delivers survival-flavored crafting and combat wrapped in mythology.
