About Dauntless

Dauntless casts you as a Slayer of Ramsgate, humanity's line of defense against the Behemoths that threaten to consume the world. This free-to-play co-op action RPG sends you out to hunt enormous monsters, forge striking gear, and take on the fight across platforms alongside other Slayers. More than forty Behemoths roam the Shattered Isles, each a demanding boss encounter that rewards preparation, skill, reflexes, and sheer determination.

Gear is central to survival. You master and level up an arsenal of distinct weapons, each carrying its own Legendary abilities and Talents, and swapping in a subweapon opens up powerful combos to gain an edge over your quarry. Parts harvested from slain Behemoths feed into crafting, upgrading, and optimizing your armor, while Cells activate perks that unlock your gear's full potential.

This is very much a shared undertaking. Seamless cross-play and cross-progression, powered by Epic accounts, let you team up with other Slayers, and Parties or Guilds help you build a community. You can also tailor the challenge to your style, from the open-world Hunting Grounds where you pick both the Behemoths and the difficulty, to modes like Escalation. As an MMO-flavored action RPG on PC, Dauntless keeps the focus on cooperative monster hunting.
