About Dark Deity 2

Dark Deity 2 poster

A quarter of a century after the events of the first game, Verroa has been painstakingly rebuilt by Irving and the Eternal Order to withstand another war. That peace proves fragile when the neighboring Holy Asverellian Empire, hungry for room to expand, sets its sights on the still-fractured nation. Standing against the invasion are the Order and twenty aspiring heroes, and in this tactical RPG you take command of the Eternal Delegation led by Irving's descendants, Gwyn and Riordian.

Much of the campaign hinges on choices. You navigate Verroa's tangled politics and forge the alliances that will decide how the coming war unfolds, and those decisions shape the composition of your army. Combined with a deep pool of customization options, the game is built so that no two playthroughs develop in quite the same way.

At its core is turn-based tactical combat. The twenty heroes can grow into 45 branching classes, each carrying its own abilities, passive effects, and battlefield role. Experimenting with skills, gear, and abilities can transform how a unit performs mid-mission and reshape your tactics entirely. As the roster fights through daunting odds, heroes form bonds through shared hardship. Blending strategy, adventure, and indie RPG design on PC, Dark Deity 2 puts flexible, player-driven play at the center.
