Dark and Darker is an unforgiving, hardcore first-person fantasy dungeon adventure where enormous fortunes await those brave, or foolish, enough to descend into the ruined depths of an ancient citadel. Players band together with friends and rely on courage, wits, and cunning to uncover mythical treasures and defeat gruesome monsters, all while staying a step ahead of rival treasure-hunters. The real challenge, though, comes after the plundering: escaping alive by finding hidden routes before the ever-expanding darkness reclaims both your riches and your corpse.

The game deliberately channels the wonder of classic fantasy adventure, standing on the shoulders of the genre's traditions and harkening back to old worlds where danger waits around every corner and boldness is repaid with riches. Teamwork is central to survival, as players assemble a party of up to three from a range of timeless roles, such as a brawny barbarian holding the frontline, a sharp-eyed ranger firing arrows, and a merry bard keeping morale high.

As an action MMO with RPG roots, this is a world of high risks and high returns on PC.
