The game features a wide spread of licensed vehicles from the world's top manufacturers, spanning motorcycles, cars, trucks, quads, and SSVs, and aims to satisfy both off-road simulation diehards and more casual racing fans alike.

Authenticity runs through the whole package, with more than thirty stages drawn from the official 2020, 2021, and 2022 Dakar Rally events, complete with officially licensed vehicles, teams, and pilots across both multiplayer and single-player modes. All of it takes place within an immense open world that refuses to confine players to tracks and roads, and the game supports a broad selection of steering wheels for those chasing the ultimate driving feel.

The environment plays an active role in every race through all four seasons and a full day-night cycle. Players contend with billowing sandstorms, harsh desert sun, punishing rain and snow, and deep mud, needing to master the elements as well as their rivals to come out on top. Careers in this racing simulation can be developed in single-player or through online multiplayer events shared with friends.
