About CULTIC

CULTIC is an old-school-inspired first-person shooter that pits players against the ranks of a sinister cult whose members have had their minds warped by an unseen entity. This action FPS expects plenty of lead flying back your way, so survival depends on staying mobile, using running, sliding, dodging, and the surrounding environment to weather the storm as you fight through hostile territory.

Combat is built around freedom of approach. You can charge in with guns blazing, leaping and sliding to stay out of harm's way, or adopt a patient style by laying traps, luring enemies toward you, and picking them off from cover. There is even room to weave between foes and turn them against one another, and a full arsenal of mid-century firearms and explosives ensures you are equipped to cut down everything in your path, provided you avoid being cut down first.

The fighting itself is fast and lethal, where well-placed shots can end enemies, and the player, in a hurry, making constant movement and smart use of cover essential to staying alive. Visually and mechanically the game evokes the shooters of decades past while embracing the strengths of a modern engine, adding physics, dynamic lighting, and a fully 3D world to a throwback style of gameplay, audio, and art.
