About Cronos: The New Dawn

Cronos: The New Dawn poster

Cronos: The New Dawn is a brutal third-person survival horror in which the fight for the future depends on salvaging the past. Players must burn monsters before they merge together, extract souls from the living, and constantly adapt in order to survive. The world it builds is a grim fusion of Eastern European brutalism and retro-futurist technology, framing a story that moves back and forth between two time periods.

In the past, players witness a world convulsed by The Change, a cataclysm that permanently reshaped humanity. In the ruined future, survival becomes a constant struggle against monstrous abominations that test both reflexes and tactical judgment. You take the role of a Traveler working for the shadowy Collective, sent to comb the future's wastelands for time rifts that open passage to Poland in the 1980s.

Staying alive in this desolate action-horror world hinges on planning and strategy rather than reflexes alone. The nightmarish enemies demand full use of your arsenal, and you can bend temporal Anomalies to clear paths through the environment while scavenging for the scarce ammo and supplies that keep you going. Preparation counts for a great deal, because once a fight begins, a single split-second decision can make all the difference between survival and death.
