Crime Boss: Rockay City is a tension-packed first-person shooter that casts players as an aspiring criminal legend out to heist, steal, and rob their way to the top. Armed with a broad selection of weapons and equipment, you take on both police forces and rival gangs, choosing between going in loud with guns blazing or slipping through jobs quietly using stealth. The heists are heavily randomized, and range from robbing banks and holding up stores to raiding armored trucks, backed by dozens of quick jobs and turf-war skirmishes across three difficulty settings.

The action FPS unfolds in Rockay City, Florida, a place steeped in 90s gangster pop culture and deliberately cheesy dialogue. Following the fall of the previous crime boss, the city is up for grabs, and players step into the shoes of Travis Baker in a single-player, rogue-lite campaign built around earning money, managing a crew of criminals, and seizing territory from competing gangs.

Every strategic choice carries consequences, but failure does not end the run, since permanent buff cards can be unlocked to strengthen future attempts. The question hanging over the campaign is whether your criminal empire can dominate Rockay City before Sheriff Norris shuts you down, and players can pursue that goal solo or team up with friends while creating and customizing their own boss.
