Classified: France '44 is a turn-based strategy game set during World War II in the tense months before the Allied invasion of France in June 1944. You take command of a special-ops team of Allied commandos and French resistance fighters, recruiting elite operatives to build your squad and launching a sweeping campaign of sabotage across occupied territory. Working with competing factions to grow the resistance network is essential, but the more chaos you unleash, the more you draw the ruthless attention of the Gestapo.

Missions take their cues from real Allied and French exploits, expanding on turn-based tactical ideas to bring authentic wartime combat to life. The campaign supports multiple playthroughs that shift each time, and a rich Mission Creator tool lets players build, share, and download custom scenarios for those who want to keep testing themselves.

A standout morale system means every shot counts. Fire can suppress and break your opposition, opening a brief window to flank cowering enemies and finish them off. Stealth lets you eliminate key targets and dictate when the fighting starts, but every kill risks tipping off the enemy that something has gone wrong. On PC, that balance of stealth and force defines each engagement.
