Clash: Artifacts of Chaos casts you as Pseudo, a martial arts master living as a recluse in the strange land of Zenozoik. Everything changes when he crosses paths with the Boy, a small creature whose mysterious powers have drawn the eye of Gemini, the Mistress of the Artifacts. Pseudo chooses to protect him, not yet realizing that far greater forces are at play, and that decision sets this action-adventure indie in motion.
Zenozoik is a highlight in its own right, drawing on surreal and punk fantasy to fill the world with striking characters, creatures, and landscapes to roam and uncover. Combat leans on your fists and speed, asking you to attack, dodge, stun, block, and counter parries to land special strikes, even switching to a first-person view for unique techniques where a single mistake can prove fatal.
As you go, you learn various martial arts and swap between them freely to suit each situation, enemy, and preference, improving your traits and upgrading attacks to shape a personal style. On PC, a distinctive touch is the pre-fight ritual: challenge an opponent to a game of dice, where the winner sets the rules of the encounter, often tilting it in their favor.
