About Chip ‘n Clawz vs. The Brainioids

Chip ‘n Clawz vs. The Brainioids poster

Chip 'n Clawz vs. The Brainioids comes from Julian Gollop, the mind behind X-COM, and it fuses third-person action with real-time strategy into something distinctly its own. The alien Brainioids have descended on Earth to swipe our Brainium crystals, hauling them off in Grav Spheres, and only a young inventor named Chip and his robo-cat Clawz can seize control of each sphere and push all the way to the Mothership.

The campaign leans into humor while keeping the pace brisk. You can play solo or in co-op through a story campaign and side missions, jumping straight into pick-up-and-play action with mechanics that are easy to learn yet reward mastery. Building an arsenal of structures, weapons, vehicles, and abilities lets you take the fight to the invaders, and the strategic Command View means you can marshal your army and then wade into large-scale battles yourself. Boss encounters against the highest-ranking Brainioids push your base and minion management to the limit.

On PC, the multiplayer offering runs deep, spanning epic army clashes, two-player couch co-op, and competitive PvP for those craving strategy-fueled mayhem.
